Allen R. Adon Jr.

I was seven years old, when I gave my parents “the bad news” that I wanted to be an artist, and through discovery, practice, and a little bit of luck I have been afforded the opportunity to continue to chase that dream. As a visual communicator I have always been passionate about, and thrive during the creative process. I pride myself on my work ethic, but most important to me in working with clients is, customer service.

Since my 7 year old self declaration (I haven’t “grown up” as you can tell by the above image), I have graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Art, amassed over 15 years of professional experience working in the visual communications industry for clients that range from nonprofits, and beginning entrepreneurs to the Federal Government and Fortune 500 companies. Currently, I work as a freelance graphic designer and as the creative manager for Valor Fitness delivering from concept to final project, print collateral, digital assets, website analytics, SEO, and brand consistency across all platforms utilizing the current industry standard software packages in both a MAC and PC environment.

Previously, as a Sr. Multimedia Specialist in the Federal Government, I was instrumental in leading the transition for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in joining the digital age. Along with honing my skills and abilities in the design realm, I acquired and learned other skill-sets that then gave me the opportunity to lead projects, staff, committees, and solve visual challenges to promote and deliver initiatives, programs, events, and policies.

I’ve worn many hats in my career; manager, multimedia specialist, visual information specialist, entrepreneur, graphic designer, freelancer, visual communicator. Subsequently, I have a unique ability to know and understand branding, design, and client wishes.

I lead by example.
I speak in sketch.
I am a unique problem solver, that lives to deliver.
